Not used one.
I do have a small daiwa ninja spinning reel and a couple of older daiwa emblem 4500t reels. No issues with either.
IMHO Daiwa do a decent reel.

One of my friends has the 21 45. Seems decent for the money. Shame they don't come with spare spools as they're expensive.

I have three of them and not a single one of them has the auto bail arm working no matter what I do .

so I have to put the bail arm over by hand after every cast .

thought it might be a common thing .

That would be because, according to Daiwa, the bale arms are 'manual trip' or return anyway.
More and more reels are being produced as manual bale arm return, and a lot of anglers reckon you should do it that way anyway.
