Daiwa 8 strand J Braid.

I've seen quite a few folk recommend J Braid. What do you guys reckon on this?

Genuine or counterfeit? Seems to be a load of counterfeit gear about these days.

Fake. J braid only comes in dark green, multi-colour and chatreuse. Also wrong breaking strains for J braid. Google it and go the the Daiwa site for it.

The original J Braid is pretty good and it’s actually made by YGK in Japan. I’ve used the J Braid in the past in breaking strains 18lb and above with no issues whatsoever.

Not all are fakes, try 60%

It might not be a bad braid, just not original j-braid.
