Afternoon all,

Went and dug some blow lug this morning. Rigs tied, hooks sharpened, car packed. Let’s see what they catch me over the next few days ?

First session tomorrow. Not decided where yet but will have a session Hythe / Dungie way then a few more local North Kent coast.

Conditions less than ideal…. bright sunshine, clear water, crabs stripping my beautiful lugworms in 5 minutes. But I don’t care it’s lush to be out.

Oh and blank has been saved by my near, but not quite personal worst whiting.

Well you never know when fishing…

Just as I posted the above update I noticed my line had arced well down tide. Upon reeling in it started going back up tide ?

This absolute beauty was the result, it smashed one of the pin whiting and somehow my size 2 fine wire hooked and held despite a real scrap!

Pic of a new rig I tried out, pulley dropper. No tangles and casted well so will carry on using it alongside my usual loop rigs.
