My wife has a course in Plymouth so instead of sending her on the train I gave her a lift so I could fish for a couple of hours.

I used cut down sabikis to 3 hooks which I used as they were or baited with a bit of rag.

First 5 fish all different species and 4 new ones for the hunt. So I had;

Herring
Sand smelt
Black goby
Whiting
Thwaite shad

Was cold and the wind picked up so 2 hours more than enough time.

Excellent I like your way of thinking ??

Nice one Kai! Good report & photos. Even though I'm in the City, I've never fished Elphinstone. If the fishing/weather is good, it always gets very busy down there, and I can't be doing with crowds!

I was the only one there until nearly time to go. I assume it gets busier later in the day and evening.
