Bigger tides, warm weather and a bank holiday meant a sneaky early trip over high tide. My eldest decided to join me and we thought it was a useful idea to test bait vs lures. Giving him the first choice he selected lures, so I float-fished peeler. It was a beautiful morning and the sun put the mockers on the fishing by 08:30, but, I had 3 bites and landed one small schoolie, one of the lost fish felt like a good sized wrasse. Sadly, my eldest blanked on the soft plastics, not so much as a touch?‍♂️

All in all a beautiful day and not a blank.F23B0833-13EB-49C2-8F4A-C5DE42140EC9.jpeg
