First session out with rods last night and what a great evening it turned out to be. 3 of us in total and a few fish caught, one a nice Bass probably in the 3-4lb bracket and the other a lovely Flounder, looked well fed and thick.

4 Flounder for my efforts all coming to frozen ‘ tacky ‘ lug on a 1up 1down glued flapper rig.

Nice start to the year Kev ;) and good to hear of a decent bass turning up ?.

Nice going with the flounders , they all look a good size compared to what we see on the east coast!

Cheers mate, one of the lads I was fishing with had a really nice one. Don’t think I’d be exaggerating if I said it was a good inch thick.
