Short session, 2 up 2 down on Saturday. Decent tide, just fished frozen blacks and blow lug on long pulleys. Tide pull was much stronger than anticipated and really struggled to hold bottom at distance, needed a good 30 yard walk up tide. Sea was flat with a reasonable wave, offshore wind but very cold. First cast missed a slack line bite, few pout, dogs and a strap, steady stream of codling biggest 3lb14oz, smallest 2lb1oz. Amazing to see numbers of these in January, especially with fairly clear water.

Great session and well done on the Cod.

My doubt is why take 5 of them🤔 when you say you are already amazed to see them in numbers in January! (just saying)
