Fish scalers?

I bought the one above when buying some knives and a steel, also the big tweezers.

Only used it once so far and it worked fine. Can't make any comparisons as it is the first I have owned.

I don’t bother scaling my fish anymore , the wife cooks them in the oven , then the meat just falls off the skin

Not had the need for one, somebody did recommend one to me a while ago, but not seen it on sale anywhere.

There's some cordless electric ones on eBay - now they would make a nice job of redecorating the kitchen! ??

I live in whitstable which is a harbour town famous for oysters and fish .
I tried to buy a scaler in town couldn't find one anywhere unbelievable! Even a homeware type shop with knives and cutlery all the gear but no fish scalers or even filleting knives anywhere!
