South West Five this morning

I couldn’t get out on the rocks today due to large swells and strong winds, so I went to local harbour that I knew would be reasonably sheltered from the elements. It wasn’t perfect, but it was fishable. The best of five, all lure caught as usual.

Nice Wrasse,
Loads can usually be found in the sheltered waters around Swanage.

Nice fish.

Are you fishing on the inside of harbour or on the outside (towards open sea)?

Nice one mate, some nice Wrasse, great pics too... 🎣 🎣

Great Session lovely Colour on that do you Find Different Colors on Different Terrain
Thanks. I find mixed colours in the same place. One spot a fish, I had a red one followed by a green one a few weeks later from the same gulley

Lovely colours on them all .

Great catch report 👍

I have only ever managed to catch wrasse on lures when boat fishing myself, they have taken lures that are being fished for Cod, and really hit them with a wallop. Must be exciting taking them from the shore on lures, must try it sometime .
