Fished cogden from low to high friday afternoon. It still had a bit of colour in the water but had calmed down from earlier in the week unbelievably warm for october. Fished with black lug , squid , rag and whitebait . Bites came in spurts had a few small straps , pout and whiting plus a small plaice at dusk . Weirdly as soon as darkness fell didnt get another bite all evening regardless of rigs baits or distance of casts .
A few fish had better than recent results .
