South Coast Hard of herring ?

Cannot find any recent reports of Herring, either targetted or as bycatch. Can anybody confirm that they have caught or seen caught any Herring along the Channel coast between Worthing & Lymington this year?

The pilchards are all out deep maybe herring the same?????

Quite a few in Torbay.

You have to fish for them at night, I used to catch loads of them from Lancing area. Not many nowadays.
