South West I’m back after a break

Hi folks. After a break, I’m back on the forum. It’s taken a while, I lost my log in details so Mike had to re-set it.

Instead of trying to find shelter on Friday morning on a rock mark, I decided to head to a local harbour, knowing the westerly wind would be blowing pretty much from behind me. It’s a spot I rarely fish, 22nd September 2023 was the last time I ventured here, but it’s a good back-up mark with some really rough ground on the sea side of the wall. I spent a couple of hours working a Ned around the rough ground on the Texas rig, which resulted in five fish, the best one registering 4lb 4oz on the scales.
