South West Interesting catch

I caught one from Branksome Chine, Bournemouth, many many years ago; before the days of digital cameras and the internet.
It took me ages to research what it was.

Thanks wouldn't of seen that . Always wonder where these little colonies of rarer fish meet and breed . Great stuff ,heard of a couple round here on the south coast from piers before I think

I remember there was one on Morrisons fish counter some time ago - it ended up in my frying pan and was delicious! 😋😋

I think they catch quite a few off Cornwall.

Lwarder caught a porgie off the rocks recently! I don't catch many netting inshore for flatties,,megrim are rare
