Hit my favourite beach last night just after 11pm low water at 0100 bait was yellows and bluey Screenshot_2022-02-06-08-22-31-22_99c04817c0de5652397fc8b56c3b3817.jpghoping to pick up a stray codling as the conditions were crap. Sea was as flat as a witches tit good thing the wind had dropped to nothing and it wasn't raining. I had 7 whiting in total no codling or flatties or bass. I got washed off the sand bar about 03.30 still had loads of bait left so decided to walk along the beach about 2 mile to fish the bay up till high water just whiting again had another 8 so 15 in total. I kept 3 that were knackered and wouldn't go back for the dogs tea. IMG20220206082152.jpg I'm having chips and peas.☹️ One thing I did notice about some of the whiting I caught is 6 of them were blind in one eye strange?. The pics aren't up to much as it was bloody freezing down there and didn't want to take many pics of whiting.got in at 07.45 off to bed now??

Good report Stevie - well done for the effort, especially as Dodders said, hiking 2 miles in the middle of the night! I'm not fit enough to hike 200 yards in daylight! At least the Dog had a decent feed! ????
