South West Local muddy spot.

Decided to try spot close to home that normally fishes consistently, however this year its been consistently poor! Well for me anyway. Started an hour after high, good bite within 2 minutes resulted in a hook pull on a reasonable bass, then got bitten off! Next came a few straps, then the rays on the feed, all 6-8lb. So a manic few hours, with lots of fish. The fishing died off as low approached, then right on slack water a good bite produced a really good sole. I knew it was over 2lb, but was shocked when it went just over 3lb on the scales. Couldn't really fish on after that as was absolutely made up. so called it a night.
