South West M-O-O-N spells ‘pain in the arse’

I’ve had a few on a bright moon, best about 6lb something in Guernsey, funnily enough, but generally I find it’s a bit of the kiss of death for bass fishing.

On this coast, damp drizzly misty night with a decent NW in your face and and kicking surf seems to be a prime time.
Where I fish a NW will go over your head, Southerly, South Easterly & South Westerly is a different matter though.
