Hi, can anyone help please....
I'm looking to upgrade from my penn warfare rod and reel 20-30Ib boat set up...
I need a new real that has level wind as I'm new to multiplier reels and I'm after a softer tip that I will see bites a lot easier....
Or if anyone can recommend a reel that would be easy for a novice when it comes to multiplier reels... I don't need anything for casting as I'm always on a boat....
Thanks in advance 🛥🎣👍

As others have said, abit more info on things would help alot with recommendations.
I use a heavy spinning rod (150g) and small fixed spool (4500) for all my boat stuff from uptiding to wrecking. That's my personal preference though and may not suit you in the slightest.

Do you have your own boat or fishing on a charter?
If on a charter, maybe have a chat with others and see what they're using and see if you could try a few different setups out to see what works best and feels nicest to you.

tides, depth ,size leads using ,shark =whiting = rod , most 20 to 50 lbs will do but not nice to use if targeting the wrong fish
