Serious question now then. What knot would you use to secure a rope to a harness? I often use a dog spike with a good rope to help me get up and down steep banks but the knot I use just tends to be lots of small knots until I feel that it won't come undone. I have often thought that I should learn a proper knot for it.

Used to use Dolly Knots at lot conjured up mods to it also when tying down.
Can pull a car along/out of mud etc if stuck

Always knew as dolly Knots but that's another name for it most likely?
