Biggly squid or mackerel fillet/joey into dark...I used to fish Barafundle bay (stackpole quay, not too far away) into dark for some lovely bass, amongst other things but freelined bait into dark is a fab way to fish, and you'll be surprised how close in good fish will come, enjoy!!

Think darkness is king here for freelined, purely as it keeps the seagulls away...
