Bit enigmatic. Reel seats are not all the same size if that's what you mean. Your beachcaster reel might not fit a spinning rod.

if your talking tubular reel seats then no, they are specific to blank size, generally the size of reel it will take increases with diameter

No they are all diffrent sizes mate

I did try to put my Penn Surfblaster on a light Spinning rod at home purely to hold the reel and respool with new line. It wouldn't fit.
As folks have said above, they are all different, relevant to rod size.

I expect you meant screw "up", (or down) as opposed to screw "in". If you mean this type of thing then they are winch fittings or tube reel seats.
