Return to Poole Harbour

So, the plan was to fish Portland again today but Weymouth Angling wouldn't have any ragworm til midday. Therefore I switched to Poole Harbour where I could get some ragworm. Fished 5 hours mixing legering mid channel and fishing lrf style down the sides... A total of 3 fish landed 2 gobies and 1 wrasse. The fish just were not interested. Three other anglers fishing also and they hadn't caught a thing when I left. Still always nice to get out fishing on my days off. Watched a vid on YouTube of mackeral on lrf, looks great fun will definitely try that in the summer when they return. Really enjoying the switch from coarse fishing at the moment.

Nice wrasse mate. ?
Mackie are great fun on LRF gear as are mullet, they go absolutely mental and really test your tackle. Just imagine you're free lining a chunk of bread for chub and you'll do just fine.

As Warby72 said mate, mullet & Mackie are fun on light gear,add garfish to that list, sometimes you can get them tail walking
