Fished in the vicinity of Sandown Castle Community Gardens, Deal on Friday (19 November) from 7.30 pm until 2 am. High Tide: 11.33 pm. Wind: WSW 7 – 9. Weather: unusually mild. Bait: squid, rag and bluey. Outcome: whiting fest (although some reasonable) and a half decent dogfish. Enjoyable session despite losing a complete set of gear including tapered leader.

:)

Seems like Whiting are just about every where now, well done on getting amongst them (y)

Well done, hope a few made it to the filleting board!

not where I fish from the shore lol Welldone for getting amongst them.

Nice one, busy sesh and don’t mind tings if they’re a decent size!

The whiting are ravenous at the moment. Nice to catch fish though ??
