Arrived about 430pm whole beach to myself got the shelter up just before the rain came in 2 rods out for a ray ,sun came out reeled in to rebait second rod and a bit of weght on felt good but was a small ray of 1 3/4lb lovely none the less ,the whiting turned up and i couldnt find any more rays,finished with 23 whiting 1dab 1dogfish 1thornback ray.

shame the whiting got in the way of more bigger stuff though as happens so often

15 of the whitng were in size biggest 34cm

That's not bad going, especially if they have abit of meat on them, they're quite nice in fishcakes.
