South West Slapton 14/09

[Reevsey]

Fished from 3pm to high water at 11pm . 2 of us ( 4 rods ) threw everything at it rigs n baits for flatties , rigs n baits for hounds and everything we had for a dogfish just to save the blank . Cast short cast long , went thru Sandeel, peeler, rag ,squid , cart , mackeral and prawn not a single bite all day not even from a spider. unbelievably s##t.?.
Hope somebody had a better night than us .

East Devon down has been terrible of late let’s hope it picks up at some point good effort tho bud ?

After living in Kingsbridge for over 40yrs, Slapton/Beesands were always THE places to go for a good shore session, but not any more. Sorry to hear you had such bad luck Reevesey, and as others have said, better luck next time. We didn't do well on the last trip to Beesands - 5 of us fishing, total haul 3 Spider Crabs & 1 Dogfish.

Unlucky mate, that beach has go to turn on soon, well done on hanging in there tho
