Hi all after spending alot of recent sessions at chesil i thought i try somewhere a little more local to me .The sea had a decant chop to it and as expected as soon as darkness fell it became a whiting and dogfish fest . Last year the whiting were of a decant size from here but the larger ones are yet to arrive . Tried live baiting a few incase any bass were about but no joy . No pics of fish i think we all know wot a ting looks like but one of the sun going down and a moody moon . Cheers

Nice one Reevsey! We had reports of big Whiting coming out a bit further down the coast 10 days ago, but after a serious attempt to snare a few, nothing. Not even one.

Slapton is always worth a go , the beaches have been a bit slow at the moment.
I agree very rarely blank there but occasionally get a better stamp of fish .i reckon our beaches will improve after a bit of a blow .
Did you read report on match at West Bex "450" odd lb of fish landed highest weight 65lb
Yeah did see that . Also seen the video of a bloody great cod from ferrybridge on you tube .
Once again wrong place at the wrong time ?. Still good to be out and I'll be back up chesil in a couple of weeks .
