I spent most of my trips in January along that stretch targeting rays and only getting whiting for my efforts. Stick with it and you'll bag up soon.

Catching whiting is a tad better than blanking, them rays a be queuing up for your baits soon???

Keep going mate. Had some decent fish from that stretch from the beach and the pier this year. It can be a bit hit and miss though.
