South Coast Target fish caught

Hi , fished at Netley today between 12 and 4 o'clock, fished 2 rods with 1 hook clipped down as usual , with size 1 hooks and rag for bait .
Had a nice little flounder so happy with it not caught one for years !

A flounder from Southampton Water makes you a fishing hero. Well done. Gone are the days when the bottom was carpeted with them.

It's a real shame they're so few and far between now , when I first went beach fishing maybe 20 years ago they seemed quite common.
