What a difference a week makes. Virtually unfishable for most of the time yesterday and a rough ride home. Fortunately the forecast was right insofar as the wind swung WNW which meant the row in from the swinging mooring was calm.
Big hounds still in abundance with most fish going double figures up to about 14lb. All unhooked on the surface so no actual weights or photos but a great bit of sport, especially the commons which seem to out muscle the staries.
Anyway enough of them for now. Will be focusing on a bass or two next time and hopefully some more yummy sole.
