I was going to fish a beach for a change but I heard the pier would be closing for a bit so I thought I would get on there and find out what was going on.
The side access will be closed while they are replacing the cladding so there will be no access for fishing, A staff member told me for two weeks but who knows..

Anyway I fish the normal two hours up and down over high tide, the sea was pretty calm and there was little wind which was nice as it was forecasted.
I had one rod out with bluey and squid which produced nothing excpt a greedy whiting, the other rod with rag and lug produced a steady stream of whiting most fo which where undersized but there was a few at 37cm.
There was one other suprise fish which was a bonus.. Well it was a small codling but I'm getting an error (The upload file was not the image expected) when trying to upload the pic..
Thats the second trip where I havnt seen a ray,, where have they gone? :)
