Morning chaps! Heading to Wales, Freshwater West and Angle Bay, during 1/2 term. Worth taking the spinning rod? Anyone fished these locations before? Any advice?

Thanks all for your generous advice earlier in the month! I ended up heading down to Chesil Beach but after speaking to one of the locals on the conditions, tides etc I headed to Ferry Bridge behind the beach and I’m happy to say I’m no longer a bass virgin!

I’m new to lure fishing and was wondering where is the best place to go looking for bass in mid September - south and southwest England - got some time on my hands so don’t mind a longish drive from London. Any advice greatly appreciated!
