3 Oz lead on a 3lb test curve is fine there's a guy on the tube uses them all the while catches bream etc no problems at all 👍

Decent carp rod would be perfect as I use them 3lb test curve

Sorry mags reduce spool speed I guess

Nobby turned towards rod tip decreases mags on back toward rod but applies more mags Hope this helps

Good news turns out the reel seat was faulty and veals have sent a replacement one so can't fault them for there great customer service 👍
