Beginner set up

Well l am now the owner of a Sonik Sks black won for £46.00 so thanks for the link and my adventure into sea angling starts
Well done, now get a reel, some line, shock leader, a few rigs, weights a bit of bait and get out there and give it a go. If you like the rod you can hunt for it's twin before they are all sold off.

There’s nothing wrong with just starting out with one rod anyway.
Fishing two rods is nice and gives more options to try different baits/rigs/distances.

But sometimes you can also fish more effectively and learn more if you’re focusing on a single rod.

As said, do ask back here for advice on further tackle or tactics etc.
No question is a silly question if you don’t know or have never done it before.
