Yeh lifestyle changes have been my main tactic so far, reducing exposure to known irritating things etc, unfortunately sea fishing was in there too. Do you find wetting hands and touching baits better than wearing gloves and dealing with the inevitible (though delayed) sweat induced reaction...

Exactly where my first pair went. First pair was the "team vass 700", not bad, split at the boot somewhere after 2 years of regular use. New set are the 740e, the fit is massive in comparison, though the thicker pvc prob makes the waders less supple. Could be the reason they feel so big.

I've only fished off black rock twice, which is odd as I live in Clevedon! I don't like competition while getting onto the reef I guess, quite a busy mark! Good hounds come off there though, and further along at St Margarents Bay (aka Layde Bay, as it's often referred to).

12lb rating is what the manufacturer reccomends if you wanted to have balanced tackle that's all

Caught a pike on a local reservoir at the weekend. It took a jerk bait and went 13lb 3oz, first double, only caught a fish just under 5lb prior to this. Hopefully I'll catch many more like some of your photos on this thread. Cheers
