I know most anglers tend to stick to one of fishing , Sea, Coarse, Game etc. so I am just wondering how many on here do other types of fishing as well or would such a thing be considered a mortal sin ?
Well that is my second blank out of the way. I did manage to land 3 crabs but not sure if that means I didn't actually blank. Am I going back tomorrow ? I said I was stubborn not stupid ! Heading home on Saturday so not sure when I will be back but hope to get over to wales for some coarse...
Well I went down to the harbour today and while some might say I wasted my time as I didnt even get a bite, I say I come closer to catching my ext fish from that venue.
Thanks Andy, I am only just over a hip replacement op, so long walks are a bit of a no no at the moment but I will try them later in the year when I have full mobility back.
You would be amazed at how many people think that. While it might be true in some areas for boat angling but shore fishing here is gone to the dogs. ( no pun intended). Even anglers who fish for the Irish international team are struggling to get any descent catches.
Thanks. Just logged in and will deffo be ordering stuff from him. First I have to ok it with the people I will be staying with to get it posted to their address. Getting anything posted to Ireland has become a nightmare.
At the risk of sounding like a total pleb, I have a question for the more experienced anglers. Do you have a favorite rig for pier fishing ? I have more or less being using the same standard two hook rig since I was a kid. I didn't really have anyone to teach me when I started and sort of...
That is where I get my bait. I have also bought a cheap rod and reel combo there, and a 3 piece suit. Oh yeah, and extra rigs and weights. I find I can't go into a tackle shop and simply buy what I went in for.
I am going to be in Yarmouth for a few days later this month I have been there a couple of times and fished the harbour wall. Just wondering if there is anywhere else I should be giving a go ?
