How to fix this..

I have NEVER EVER had a reel get stuck on a rod.

Reels always removed and go back in a Bag, and same with my Rods, every trip.

Had two sections of a new Rod get stuck together - couple of bags of Frozen peas sorted that out when I got home.

I used some 600 grit very gently rubbed round the spigot and then a 2b pencil on mine when the spigot was too tight. Worked for me.(y)
