    Well done nice report , have you thought about lengthening the leader or even use a tapered leader, some might suggest braid all the way through. Still having said all this, you are catching and landing, so well done again.

    Fished Widewater during daylight for a change, 1030 - 1545 with HW at 1300ish.Frozen Blacks as bait as to lazy to dig fresh outs this time and it was really cold first thing.     keep the wrist area covered. i used to used a 6"stretchy tube grip type medical bandage when casting a lot on the field in practice, tend to use long sleeve tops now.

    Out again tonight at Widewater, last visit (2/10) produced a few whiting, dogfish and a strap conger of 4 - 5 lb. (note to self put scales in tackle box).
