I agree as well, if you don't look after it you can't complain if it fails. However, one of the reels was nearly new when it failed, which was accepted as a production issue. The new reel I received had massive play in the handle! It litterally wobbled, so requested a refund. That made my mind up and I went over to fathom 12s which are much more robust, possibly not quite as good for control/casting but I have very little issues with them.
