At the moment I am using a blood knot? as in coarse fishing it never let me down and I can remember how to do it. I am wrapping the tag end 4 times, any more and it doesn't want cinch down. Is this ok? Or if there is a better knot, the name of it would be fine, I can look up how to do it on the...

I have used these many years ago, but always close to the lead. Would they work up the line to provide a sort of cascade rig without the cascade swivels? I've got the cascade swivels,but am not that confident using them, due to their size probably.

Not a moan as I gather bait is now expensive, but have been away from sea fishing for so long, for instance average price of fresh lug and rag worms. Lug seems to be per worm whereas rag is by weight?? Realise it will vary across the country, but average prices please.

Any ideas? It casts 2-6 ounces,modulus carbon and just under 10 feet long. Can't remember ever using it,probably around 20 years old. Think I got it for pier fishing,as it's two unequal lengths it's awkward fitting in the car. If anyone is interested to pick up in Cornwall, offers welcome!

Just bought the cheapest reel I have ever bought for a bit of fun, it's a Rovex Powerspin, think they have quite a few (Angling Direct), they sell for anything from £20-£30 on eBay,Amazon etc. It looks ok, might not last, but I do like a bargain! I've still got an uptide rod from a few years...

I am getting a spinning rod and reel for Christmas, got most of the stuff needed to start including braid, not too sure if I really need fluorocarbon as a leader. Initially I will only be using about 3 feet as leader(is this long enough for rock fishing?), and am thinking 15lb mono would be ok...
