Hi all, Decided to try a breakaway casting canon with my fixed spool instead of my usual finger stall. Mainly because it’s either lost in my box, in the way or covered in bait. I’ve just fitted one but not sure if it’s in the correct position? Opinions? Thanks

Are there any decent low stretch monos out there that you would recommend? Looking for something 20-22lb for mixed ground codling, rays etc on my airpower. I do like Gardner gt hd for low stretch but I’d much prefer it in an orange or red. So I can see it. Was considering braid at one point...

After a bit of a disaster last week with my shimanos I’m currently one reel down. I’ve seen that these Penns are sealed so am thinking that could be very handy. I know they won’t be as smooth or refined as a shimano but has anyone used one or have any experience with them? Thanks

Are these any good for stopping the tripod blowing over in the wind? Had both my rods and tripod blow over into the drink today submerging my reels. Needless to say it was not a good day.

Another brand I don’t really see much said about recently is Akios. Any particular reason why ? I own a couple of their multipliers for boat fishing and they have been excellent so far.

Mines probably a Yuki Maseraty and Master Torzite. Both stupidly expensive and they are beautiful but I just can’t bring myself to use them! I’m paranoid about breaking them. I’ve been trying to sell them but I will be losing so much money on them it’s frustrating ! What are yours?

Are TronixPro really as pants as people make out or is it simply snobbery ? Spec wise and price wise they seem good but a lot seem to poo poo them instantly because they are made in China. What’s your opinion?
